How does HUVA produce and control quality of products?
1.Designing:Architectural drawing: Design solutions, analysis, assessment and consultancy will be provided by HUVA’s architectures and engineers for Clients’ optimal choices. After reaching an agreement for the best solution, HUVA will provide complete architectural, compositional, and material designs and represent them by technical drawings in top, front, left and perspective views.
Shop drawing: After architectural drawing is accepted, each building components, each smallest parts of projects are surveyed, measured, and drawn on paper. These parts are marked with code numbers and names clearly.
Always aware that a small error can cause big effects on the projects, HUVA's project management staffs always give priority to examination and control errors in drawings.
2.Components processing:Cutting: according to shop drawing, workers bring steel panel to cutting machine and cut into many separate plates. With regard to oversize components, we use beveling machine then butt-welding two plates. Welding paths always achieve ultrasonic standard, help products have extremely high durability.
Butt plate processing: to link steel structures together, we use bolts to tighten them through butt plates. HUVA uses specialized augers, makes circular apertures or oval for butt plates without oxy-acetylene welding. As a result, it ensures technical and aesthetic specifications.
After drilling and cutting, steel plates are re-surveyed to to ensure right size and name, exactly as codes on the drawing.
Assembling: incoherent components are transferred to assembling machine, here they are assembled into structural elements by temporary weld, agree with nominated codes.

Welding: to guarantee structural elements that are bound together as an united block, they are transported to automatic metal inert gas (M.I.G) welding machine. With the degree more than 1200°C, two margins of steel plate are melted then stick together like they are prefabricated.
Welding paths are checked by the ultrasonic or magnetic method to warrant structural integrity between two components.
Bending: high degree of welding machine may cause structural components that are tilted. To warrant that all structural components have absolute fidelity, they are transported to bending machine. Here, tilted sides will be bent straight by hydraulic engine.
Component’s surfaces are surveyed by technical gauge to ensure straightness and square.
Assembling butt plates: to enclose butt plates into body’s rafter, we use steel sawing machine to trim straight 2 tips before assembling gussets. By using this technique, united butt plates will not be warped, and rafter fitting will also be more precise and aesthetic.
Industrial hygiene: 30% of steel building’s endurance is decided by the quality of coating varnish. For helping varnish have high skid resistance and bear the weather’s destructiveness, before over coating, steel components are placed in an automatic ball atomizing machine to clean up the surfaces (in accordance with SA 1.0 – 2.5 standard). Steel balls are blown continuously and strongly into components' surfaces within 10-30 minutes, make them metallic lustre and create characteristic technical rugosity, help varnish more adherent.
Once again, quality control staffs resurvey to make sure the rough of surfaces as committed.
Coating varnish: The last step is coating structural components. There are 3 layers of coating varnish. The first is antirust coat, two layers of overcoat next. HUVA is studying and applying automatic oil-electrostatic system. With this system, HUVA commit that all structural components are automatic overcoated and dried up at once. A fully worked-out components are tested strictly before packing into containers and transported to construction area, ready for erection.
3. Erecting:Reading and Understanding erecting drawing: to erect successfully a steel building, we need an erecting drawing which describes layout for each elements and especially in putting them in the right order.
Proceed with erection: Handling the drawing, workers carry out erection process. Columns first, rafters, binding rafters, tie, the last one is roofing (roof, wall, flashing) and fitting the door last. Moreover, we use loading machine as “an efficient supporter” for lifting structural components and executing erections.
